SPACE AGE PROTECTION FOR YOUR CAR, TRUCK, BOAT, RV, AIRPLANE & MOTORCYCLE RejeX® is a thin-film polymer coating designed to provide a high-release protective finish for vehicles of all kinds. This very thin film – less than a micron thick – prevents stains and adhesion of common contaminants such as exhaust, bugs, oil, tree sap, bird droppings, road grime, brake dust, etc. NOTHING STICKS BUT THE SHINE!™ It also makes graffiti easy to remove and can be applied to windshields to repel rain. It’s easy to apply and produces a deep, lustrous shine that outlasts the most popular waxes by months. RejeX contains none of the free silicone oils found in some other products that are known to contaminate paint and cause problems when repainting. REJEX APPLICATION Ideally, RejeX should be applied to a cool, dry, clean surface. When over 85° F, be sure to apply RejeX out of direct sunlight. If the surface is too hot, the coating can cure before it has properly bonded to the surface, so it may not perform up to its potential. RejeX is wiped on, allowed to dry to a haze for approximately 20 minutes, wiped off, then allowed to cure for 8-12 hours (depending on the humidity; the higher the humidity, the faster the cure). Curing is required to allow the monomers (polymer building blocks) that make up RejeX to attach to the surface being treated and to cross-link into a crystal-clear, impervious film. It is important to allow RejeX to cure for 8-12 hours after the haze has been wiped off. If the coating is exposed to contaminants such as oil, fuel, soot, hard water, tree sap, cleaners, etc. before it has cured, the contaminants may interfere with or embed in the protective film.   REJEX PROTECTS AND BEAUTIFIES PAINTED METAL, GLASS, ACRYLIC, GEL COAT, FIBERGLASS, GLOSSY PLASTIC & POLISHED METAL SURFACES RejeX is not meant to be used on porous surfaces, highly oxidized painted surfaces, or to fill fine scratches. RejeX can be applied in multiple coats, allowing 8 hours curing time between coats for deeper color and greater depth of gloss. RejeX has a higher refractive index than waxes, so it produces richer, deeper looking colors and a lustrous long-lasting finish. RejeX can be used over existing wax; however, the duration of protection will be reduced as the softer underlying wax degrades comparatively quickly. There is no reason to wax over RejeX. As already stated, RejeX leaves a shinier, longer-lasting finish than wax… and waxes will have difficulty adhering to RejeX! If a RejeX-treated surface needs repainting, normal paint preparation is all that’s required. Abrasive cleaners, polishes, rubbing compounds and some chemical paint strippers can remove RejeX. SpeedX® is an extreme performance lubricant whose additives chemically react with metal surfaces and subsurfaces to reduce wear and provide the lowest coefficient of friction measurable. SpeedX lubricates better than products with PTFE. It gives long-lasting, heat-resistant lubrication, decreases wear and extends the useful life of treated items and parts. Skateboards, roller skates, chains and derailleurs operate smoother, quieter, with greater efficiency and last longer when treated with SpeedX. SpeedX thrives under heavy loads and high temperatures! Other lubricating oils are displaced by moisture and pressure – so their effectiveness is diminished. Even under the best circumstances, other lubricants don't last (comparatively) very long. Not so with SpeedX! SpeedX Polar Bonds with metal and metal alloys and clings tenaciously like a magnet. SpeedX releases the surface tension of moisture, displaces it and maintains its fantastic lubricating capability. The exotic additive package in SpeedX is activated by heat, either external or internal (frictional heating), and causes the surface and subsurface of the metal to be modified. The modified surface becomes both smoother, allowing for the transition to hydrodynamic lubrication more easily, and intrinsically possesses a lower coefficient of friction. SpeedX does not contain any corrosive chlorine or suspended solids such as PTFE, graphite or molybdenum disulfide. The three-dimensional graph below plots Load (x-axis) and Temperature (y-axis) in degrees F against the friction coefficient (z-axis). The friction coefficient is defined as the frictional force (perpendicular to the wear surface) divided by the applied load. The measurements taken in this example range from 2,000 psi to 40,000 psi in load and 75˚ to 300˚F. Friction Coefficient vs Load and Temperature This data is generated by a FALEX Block on Ring instrument. The instrument uses a block that is pushed against a rotating ring. The frictional force is measured as the block tries to move tangentially (sideways) due to friction. The friction coefficient of steel lubricated with light unadditized oil goes from near zero at low loads (parts held apart by an oil film or hydrodynamic conditions) to a very high coefficient of over 0.20 at high loads (full metal-to-metal contact or boundary conditions). Most good quality lubricants (including motor oils) tend to have boundary friction coefficients in the range of 0.15 to 0.18. Increasing Temperature Increasing Temperature Increasing the temperature of the lubricant decreases its viscosity thereby reducing oil film thickness and allowing boundary conditions to occur at lower load pressures. This causes the friction to increase. This is demonstrated on the red CorrosionX graph as the temperature goes from 75˚ to 300˚ F at a constant load of 2,000 psi. Under these conditions, even with a superlative lubricant like CorrosionX, the friction coefficient goes from 0.01 to 0.083. Under the same conditions, SpeedX's friction coefficient goes from 0.01 to only 0.02. Increasing Load The friction coefficient also goes up with increasing load at the low temperature 75˚F (this condition requires a lot of cooling). As load is increased, the lubrication state goes from hydrodynamic to full boundary conditions. The maximum friction coefficient for CorrosionX is 0.15 versus 0.08 for SpeedX. At high temperature, high load conditions, the friction coefficient is 0.14 for CorrosionX, but only 0.03 for SpeedX! This is the lowest coefficient of friction measurable on lubricated (but otherwise uncoated) steel. The industry's best protection vs. rust and corrosion plus ultra-low friction is the formula for SpeedX!
