CorrosionX® Aviation takes corrosion control to a whole new level! Featuring the latest advances in Polar Bonding and Fluid Thin Film Coating (FTFC) technologies, CorrosionX Aviation is specially formulated to displace moisture, stop corrosion instantly and provide long-lasting protection. Made entirely in the USA, CorrosionX Aviation is qualified under MIL-PRF-81309 Rev. H Type II (replaces and supersedes MIL-PRF-81309G, MIL-PRF-81309F and MIL-C-81309E) for corrosion prevention and control on airframes as well as general purpose use, as well as MIL-PRF-81309H Type IV which is the new designation for Advanced Corrosion Preventive Compound. Corrosion Technologies is the only manufacturer in the world with products currently qualified under Type IV Advanced Grade Corrosion Preventive Compound.
Used extensively by the U.S. military as well as NATO forces, all CorrosionX products and application equipment have been assigned National Stock Numbers (NSN) by the General Services Agency (GSA) and are available for procurement through the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).

NOW QUALIFIED under MIL PRF-81309H Type IV Advanced Corrosion Preventive Compound
The ability of this material to prevent corrosion and displace water make it particularly suited for service use. The combination of properties of MIL-PRF-81309 provide the necessary requirements for a corrosion preventing compound for use in the extreme naval aviation environment. Excellent for indoor protection and short-term protection outdoors where surfaces can be recoated when required. Low build treatment won’t attract dust and dirt, won’t add significant weight to small aircraft, and doesn’t interfere with the ability to inspect internal surfaces. Unsurpassed high performance multi-metal protection – combats degradation of ferrous metals, aluminum, magnesium and their alloys. Eliminates anodic and cathodic corrosion and shields against the slow diffusion of corrosive agents.
Type IV is intended for use to prevent corrosion in corrosion prone areas.
Apply to airframe interiors, battery terminals, control cables, wheel hubs, rotor heads and trim drum actuators. Excellent for use on moving parts where some lubrication is required, such as hinges, bomb racks and sliding parts. Can also be used to prevent corrosion on electronics and electrical connections – often restoring functionality. Apply to electrical and avionic components such as micro switches, cannon plugs, antenna bases, circuit breakers and buss bars.
Minimal Environmental Impact Product
As of 2017, the volatile organic content (usually abbreviated as VOC or VOCs) of CorrosionX Aviation has been reduced to ZERO. Compare that to other common airframe corrosion inhibitors, which can contain as much as 58% VOC*.
